Starting on February 1, passengers who attempt to go through security without proper identification will be referred to a new identity verification option called TSA Confirm.ID, which requires a $45 fee to cover a 10-day travel period.

TSA encourages travelers to register and submit payment in advance through Pay.gov to help streamline the screening process.

Alaska Airlines has announced new nonstop service between the Tri-Cities Airport (PSC) and Portland International Airport (PDX). The twice-daily route will begin operating June 10, 2026.
