Delta and United Continue to Grow at Tri-Cities Airport

Pasco, WA – Tri-Cities Airport (PSC) is proud to announce exciting service updates from two of our airline partners that reflect continued growth and demand in the Columbia Basin region.

Starting on May 7, Delta Air Lines is enhancing its service in two significant ways:

  • Delta will bring back its Airbus A319 on its daily nonstop route from PSC to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). This upgrade means passengers will enjoy the comfort and amenities of a larger aircraft, offering increased capacity and a more spacious travel experience.
  • Delta is adding a fourth daily flight on an E175 to its Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) hub, providing travelers with even more flexibility and improved connectivity to destinations across the U.S. and beyond.

As the busiest airline at PSC, these upgrades showcase the consistent growth in passengers on Delta’s flights. In 2024, approximately 177,000 people boarded a Delta aircraft at our airport, which is a 7% increase over 2023’s numbers. This trend highlights the strong demand for Delta’s routes and its thriving flight network.

Meanwhile, United Airlines also recently upgraded the aircraft for its nonstop service between PSC and Denver International Airport (DEN) to an Airbus A319. This change brings additional seating and enhanced onboard services for passengers traveling to and through one of United’s premier hubs.

“These airline upgrades are a direct result of the amazing turnout from our local travelers,” said Buck Taft, Director of Tri-Cities Airport. “Larger aircraft and more frequent flights not only improve the travel experience but also strengthen our connections to key hubs across the country, giving the community more options to get to their destination.”
